Intended purpose
This medical device is a brace for immobilization of the elbow joint in a bent
position.
Indications
Pre-operative, post-operative, post-traumatic, e.g. in case of proximal sulcus
ulnaris syndrome, descending tendinopathy, following bursectomy.
Contraindications
Lymph drainage disorders, also unclear soft tissue swellings distal to the
aid positioned, sensory and circulatory disorders with the region of the body
treated, skin diseases in the part of the body treated.

Fitting instructions
The brace is single-piece and has a freely positionable elbow pad which is
attached to the brace using Velcro.
Before putting the BORT KubiFX Elbow Brace on, the two pre-bent aluminium
splints located in the splint bags on the reverse side of the brace, must be
formed in accordance with the desired bending position in which the elbow
joint is to be fixed. Here, the elbow pad is positioned and the fixing straps,
which are equipped with a lock against slipping though, guided through the
D rings.
The brace can then be attached to the arm, the tip of the elbow must lie on
the bend (curve) of the aluminium splints on the pad. The D rings already
guided using fixing straps are tightened and closes, starting on the forearm.
Finally, check that the elbow joint is fixed securely, but no blood flow
congestion is incurred.
The reversible strap attached on the inner lining in the antecubital fossa area
serves as an additional stretching inhibitor and is adjusted individually.
Removal
To remove the product, loosen the belt straps and take the brace off the arm.

Delicate wash 30 °C Do not bleach (only wash with colour or mild

Do not use fabric conditioner. Close the Velcro fastening to avoid damage to
other laundry items. Stretch back into shape and dry in the fresh air
