Intended purpose
This medical device is a shoulder joint brace for immobilization of the
shoulder joint in a defined position.
Indications
Pre-operative, post-operative, post-traumatic, e.g. in case of distortion,
contusion, subcapital humerus fracture, signs of paralysis
Contraindications
Lymph drainage disorders, also unclear soft tissue swellings distal to the
aid positioned, sensory and circulatory disorders with the region of the body
treated, skin diseases in the part of the body treated.
Application risks/Important notes
This medical device is a prescribable product. Discuss the use and duration
with your treating physician. The expert staff from whom you have received the
medical device will select the appropriate size and instruct you regarding its use.
–remove the medical device prior to radiological examinations
–if wearing at night is prescribed, avoid negative influence on the circulatory
system
–in case of numbness, loosen the medical device and remove it if necessary
–in case of persistent complaints, consult the physician or specialist retailer
–use the medical device in accordance with therapeutic needs
–only use other products simultaneously after consultation with your
physician
–do not make any changes to the product
–do not wear it on open wounds
–do not use in case of intolerance of one of the materials used
–no re-use. This medical aid is intended for treating one patient only
–whilst wearing the brace, please neither use any creams nor ointments on
our around it as they can destroy the material
Fitting instructions: The image depiction is from the right-hand side.
1 Place the forearm in the arm pouch and position your elbow in the semi
circular stitched down area.
2 Position the training ball in the metacarpus area and fix it using the Velcro
area in the arm pouch.
3 The arm pouch is closed in the direction of the antecubital fossa using the
short forearm strap included. This strap fixes the forearm in the pouch.
4 Position the Velcro claw with the attachment module approx. 3 cm behind
the wrist.
Tip: Here, the attachment module button should be in the direction of the
body side.
5 The shoulder attached to the plastic ring with Velcro and the waist belt
are guided jointly over the opposite shoulder and waist together in the
threaded plastic buckle.
6 The plastic buckle is then hung in the interlock button. A light pull
towards the hand region then engages the quick-release fastener and
secures it.
Tip: The desired length setting and fixation can be set individually to the
desired length, both using the shoulder and waist belt Velcro fasteners. This
setting need only be made once.
7 The fitting process is completed.

Removal
To remove the OmoSAT, move the plastic buckle towards the antecubital fossa
and unhang the plastic buckle from the hanging button simultaneously. Open
the Velcro fasteners in the reverse order and then remove the brace.

Polyamide (PA), PUR foam (PUR), polyester (PES), cotton (CO)
The sewn in textile label provides the precise material composition.
Cleaning information
Delicate wash 30 °C Do not bleach Do not dry in a tumble dryer
Do not iron Do not clean chemically
Close the Velcro fastening to avoid damage to other laundry items.
Do not use fabric conditioner. Stretch back into shape and dry in the fresh air.
