Instructions for use

Intended purpose
This medical device is a patella tendon strap which causes relief for the
kneecap via pressure on the knee joint extensor tendon.

Indications
Patellar chondropathy, femoropatellar arthrosis, patellar tendonitis.

Contraindications
Thrombosis risk, extreme varicosis, peripheral arterial occlusive disease
(PAOD), lymph drainage disorders, also unclear soft tissue swellings distal to
the aid positioned, sensory and circulatory disorders of the region of the body
treated, skin diseases in the part of the body treated

Fitting instructions
Open the strap fully and place the pressure pad on the patella tendon directly
below the kneecap. Guide the Velcro tape through the guide loop and close
the Velcro fastener with the desired tension so that sufficient pressure is
exercised on the patella tendon, but does not result in congestion.

Removal
To remove the aid, please loosen the Velcro fastener and pull the strap out of
the guide loop.

Cleaning information
Delicate hand wash 30 °C. Do not bleach. Air Dry. Do not dry in a tumble dryer
Do not iron. Do not clean chemically.
Do not use fabric conditioner. Stretch back into shape and dry in the fresh air.
