Instructions for use

Intended purpose
This medical device is a brace for immobilisation of the metacarpophalangeal
joint and saddle joint of the thumb.
Indications
Post-operative, post-traumatic conditions, degenerative, inflammatory
conditions, i.e. in case of arthritis, ulnar/radial lesion of thumb ligaments, late
stage following tendon reconstruction, rhizarthrosis.
Contraindications
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), lymph drainage disorders,
also unclear soft tissue swellings distal to the aid positioned, sensory and
circulatory disorders with the region of the body treated, skin diseases in the
part of the body treated.
