PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Soft-brace made of elastic material that carries away moisture. Bilateral shells padded with soft memory foam ensure a comfortable fit and optimum stability.
For positioning the ankle in pronation or supination. Cross-straps limit talus prolapse.
Featuring Dynamic Force Control (DFC) technology for effective stabilization. Can be worn without difficulty with sports and walking shoes.
Special design for children’s size.

Intended purpose
This medical device is an adjustable ankle brace for the stabilization of the
upper and lower ankle joint on one plane. The brace consists of elastic
material and stabilization elements made of rigid material.

Contraindications
Thrombosis risk, extreme varicosis, peripheral arterial occlusive disease
(PAOD), lymph drainage disorders, also unclear soft tissue swellings distal to
the aid positioned, sensory and circulatory disorders of the region of the body
treated, skin diseases in the part of the body treated, latex allergy

Fitting instructions
1 Release the Velcro connection of the circumferential strap in the upper
area of the brace and the yellow-marked harness and pull it out of the
guide loop. This opens the brace fully in the rear area, considerably easing
putting it on. The orange-marked harness can be loosened. Then, insert your
foot into the brace from the rear.

2 Then, close the circumferential upper brace strap via the upper guide
loop. Tighten the strap so that it sits comfortably.

3 Then close the yellow-marked stabilisation strap via the second guide
loop as seen from above. The harness should run tightly and diagonally
over the front side of your foot. Ensure here that the tension nonetheless
remains pleasant

4 Then, close the orange-marked harness which is guided through the
second front guide loop as viewed from above. Also tighten this harness
whilst observing that the tension remains pleasant for you.
5 It is quite possible that the belt straps again need to be tightened after a
few minutes have lapsed.

Removal
To remove the BORT TaloFX, open the belts in the reverse order.
Tip: Close the Velcro fasteners in order to avoid early wear to the Velcro surface.
Information: The plastic stabilisation elements positioned at the side of the
brace are not thermoplastically remouldable/mouldable.

Polyamide (PA), elastane (EL)
The sewn in textile label provides the precise material composition.
The product contains latex and can trigger allergic reactions.

Cleaning information
Delicate wash 30 °C Do not bleach Do not dry in a tumble dryer
Do not iron Do not clean chemically
Do not use fabric conditioner. Stretch back into shape and dry in the fresh air.
Close the Velcro fastenings to avoid damage to other laundry items.
