Intended purpose

directions of movement.

syndrome (CTS), tenosynovitis, peripheral nerve paralysis.

Fitting instructions
When delivered, the brace is anatomically pre-formed. To optimize the fit,
it can be heated to 100 °C for approx. 5 minutes (using a heating oven
or an ordinary commercial baking oven) and formed to fit the patient’s
circumstances. This should be done exclusively by specialist orthopaedic
stores or the doctor. After being heated, the brace, which is flexible in the
meantime, can be directly formed on the skin after cooling down briefly. The
grey foam has an insulating effect. After fitting the heated brace, close the
fasteners and model the plastic shell on the patient’s arm. The brace cools
down after a few minutes and retains the desired form.
Isolated dents can be heated and reworked using a hair-dryer. As thermoplastic material is used,
this article can repeatedly be refitted during the course of therapy in order to
retain an optimum fit.
The brace can be used in water without any problems. If it comes into contact
with saline water, rinse it afterwards with ample fresh water.
Removal
To remove the brace, please open the Velcro fasteners and take the brace off.
