Information: The enclosed sole module can be attached to the basic support
using Hook & Loop and be positioned individually. If needed, it can be removed again
during the course of therapy.
1 Open the circumferential Hook & Loop fasteners and release the Boa fastener by
pulling it outwards until it “clicks” audibly. The fastener is now unlocked
and the pulley can be drawn out. Additionally, release the metatarsal belt and
open the wide fastener over the metatarsus.
2 Place your foot in the fully opened support from the front. Firstly, close
the wide fastening over the metatarsus. Pay attention to the support
sitting crease-free and the ankle joint being placed at an angle of 90°.
3 Following this, the two circumferential straps are closed on the upper
edge of the brace. Firstly, the rear strap, then the front strap.
4 Following this, guide the metatarsal belt inwards over the metatarsus and
hook it in there.
5 Push the Boa fastener wheel towards the body with an audible “click”.
The fastener is now engaged and the brace can be closed. Now turn
the Boa fastener wheel clockwise in order to achieve stabilization of your
ankle joint.
Please pay attention that, if you fasten it too tightly, neither pressure sores,
erythema nor influence of the blood circulation are caused.
6 To remove the brace, the Boa fastener must be released. For this
purpose, release the Boa fastener by pulling it outwards until it “clicks”
audibly. You can then draw the pulley out of the Boa casing with the textile
strap and loosen the MalleoXpress brace.
7/8 Finally open the remaining fastenings, release the metatarsal belt
